Monthly Dispatch
MAY 2026 · 5 MIN READ
May was a milestone month. We wired the first check from our new fund into a company we're not quite ready to name … they're still in stealth, building what we think will be one of the most important AI-native businesses in financial services. They're going after wealth management: a £2T UK market still run on fragmented legacy tools, where advisers spend ~70% of their time on admin and sub-£350k clients are uneconomic to serve. The founders are exactly the team to fix it, two early Revolut leaders paired with a wealth-management operator who founded and scaled Progeny to $12B AUM. Fintech execution plus deep domain experience, which is the rare combination this category needs. We'll introduce them properly once they're out.

MIRELO SFX 1.6 — Long Generations, Extender, Ambiancer, Inpainter.
Until this release, AI sound models could generate, give them a prompt or a video and they'd hand back an audio clip. What they couldn't do was let you edit the result the way a sound designer actually works: lengthen a passage, paint a new layer on top, fix one second without retouching the rest. Mirelo SFX 1.6 closes that gap. It's the first model from the team that treats sound as something you iterate on, not something you re-roll until you get lucky.

SKYFIRE Core partner in Experian Agent Trust — the Know-Your-Agent layer for agentic commerce.
When AI agents start transacting on behalf of humans at scale, the world needs a way to know which agent is on the other end of the wire — who built it, who it's acting for, and whether it can be trusted with a payment. That's the gap Experian Agent Trust is built to close: a Know-Your-Agent layer for agentic commerce. Skyfire is one of the core partners enabling it, alongside Visa and Cloudflare.

We’ve been building ellipsis AI-native from day one. Over the past few weeks, we’ve started demoing and sharing lessons from building a fully agentic firm. At GenAI Zurich, the Agent Economy Association’s inaugural event, a public webinar, and in several private sessions with other funds and LPs. The reception has been strong, including from a number of funds asking if they could use the same setup.

Four rooms this spring. Together with S16VC, we gathered at Yariv’s home in Zug around the question: “What is one thing AI has changed in your life?” We co-hosted an evening with Fly at ETH Zürich for European AI builders; Yariv served as jury at the Ignition AI Hackathon at EPFL (May 9–10); and Matthias ran the SSEN Hackathon at Chalmers. ~150 students across both.
