The strategy in one paragraph

Ellipsis Venture I invests from a founder's first check through seed, with a focus on the earliest stage, in startups where AI is the core product, sector-agnostic, prioritising companies that build defensible AI businesses through proprietary data, specialised expertise and strong technical moats, while providing hands-on operational support beyond capital. The fund is USD-denominated, held its first closing in March 2026, is domiciled in Luxembourg and is managed by Ellipsis Venture GP S.a r.l. (see the SFDR disclosure). Our thinking is public: the thesis, the criteria, the quarterly essays and the monthly Dispatch.

Investor learning sessions

Every month we host a one-hour session where we explain one AI concept properly and answer every question you ever wanted to ask: building AI agents, world models, where robotics actually stands. Recordings with slides and audio are published for past sessions.

Co-investors

We lead and co-invest at pre-seed and seed and are glad to share deal flow with funds and angels who bring domain depth. We co-hosted robotics and AI founder gatherings with Planet A Ventures, Varen Partners, Episode 1 Ventures and s16VC.
