Gracia: volumetric video you can actually ship
Seed investor since 2024, alongside VRFund and Triptyq · www.gracia.ai · All companies
Gracia is building the first production-ready infrastructure for 4D Gaussian Splatting (4DGS), a technology that turns real-world captures into photorealistic, volumetric video. With over 50 million VR and XR headsets shipped, creators and studios still lacked industrial-grade tools to produce truly immersive content.
Why we invested
Building infrastructure before the industry exists is an insane move, unless you are an outlier. We backed Georgii Vysotskii and Andrey, best friends and former Prisma engineers from its earliest days, on the strength of a viral technical demo and the conviction that a full-stack platform (cloud-accelerated 4DGS training, studio tools, Unity and Unreal integrations, real-time playback across Quest, PC VR, Mac and web) is an expertise moat that compounds.
Milestones
- October 2025. Powered the world's first 4DGS runway show for Karl Kani x Fashionverse, processing the entire production pipeline autonomously for commercial use.
- December 2025. $1.7M follow-on round led by EWOR (announcement).
- May 2026. Volumetric pipeline processed captures by Radiant Images and T-Mobile for Business for the 2026 PGA of America Championship broadcast.
- June 2026. Collaboration with Meta Reality Labs on MEMBA's live volumetric performance; the first 4DGS app on Apple Vision Pro, launched at AWE USA 2026. Streams that weighed 10 Gb per minute 18 months earlier now run at 75 Mbit/s.
- Summer 2026. Creator Space, self-serve 4DGS training in the cloud (private beta); the Unreal Engine plugin goes production-ready.
Milestones are compiled from the company's own announcements and our Dispatch newsletter; figures are the company's.
